About Me

Hi, I’m Rohana.

I’m a doula, yoga teacher, and mum of four, supporting women and families through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period in a way that feels informed, sacred, and deeply human.

I came to this work after the traumatic birth of my first child – an experience changed everything for me. I saw through my own eyes just how much birth can shape us—and how different it can feel when you are supported, prepared, and truly listened to.

Becoming a doula in 2019 wasn’t just a career choice, it was for me. I wanted to learn how we change birth, and as I did, I felt a full body shift. Despite my degree in politics, I knew that my dharma was and is birthwork.

As a doula, my support is rooted in lived experience and a deep desire to ensure others don’t have to navigate this space alone.

Since 2019 I’ve woven together my work as a doula with my background in yoga, breathwork, and my ongoing personal study of topics like nervous system awareness, birth imprints, and child development.

I’m not here to overwhelm you with clinical jargon or rigid framework, unless you want me too of course – then I’ll geek out! But no, I’m here to meet you where you are, and to support you in a way that actually fits your life.

As a neurodivergent mother raising and part time home-educating my children, I understand the beauty and the intensity of parenting on a very real level. I also understand how easy it is to feel stretched, unsure, or unsupported—especially in those early days. That understanding shapes everything I offer.

My work is grounded in the belief that how you are supported in pregnancy, birth, and postpartum matters. Not just in the moment, but long after. It influences how you feel about yourself, your baby, and your capacity as a parent.

And the truth is, support isn’t always accessible in the ways we expect it to be.

That’s why a majority of my work is now virtually.

Because life is full of juggling work shifts, geography, childcare, energy levels, and more. And support shouldn’t be something you miss out on because it doesn’t fit neatly into those constraints.

Virtual support allows me to be there with you in a way that is flexible, consistent, and woven into your real, everyday life.

Working with me isn’t about being told what to do. It’s about having someone in your corner who helps you understand your options, trust yourself, and feel steady as you move through it all.

This is a space where you don’t need to perform, fit a mould, or have it all figured out.

You just need to arrive as you are.

And from there, we build.

With love,
Rohana
