A little about me

Welcome to this space,

I’m Rohana, I’m honoured to find you here reading about me. Tuck in, I am a waffle-r when it comes to sharing!

I am a neurodivergent mum to 4 beautiful wildlings, making my way through the beauty and chaos of parenting. I home educate my children, exploring this road less travelled as we experience life in the most incredible ways together and though I hardly mention him, my partner is a wonderful father who often is the human I speak to about the millions of thoughts running through my brain.

I document my families life with my camera and I am a creative who will sometimes forgo sleep just to have a mental break and make something without beautiful little hands getting into it with me. The philosophy create more than you consume is one I try to live by.

I learn more meaningfully with and from my children than I ever did before them, and as they grow, I step into spaces where I reclaim time alone, a wiser and more confident woman than before.

Professionally, I’m a certified Doula and yoga teacher among other things. I have trainings in Traditional Chinese Medicine, NLP, Hatha Yoga, and understanding neurobiology, with research than spans birth imprints, breathwork and child development; I’ve spent the past 7 years sharing over on Instagram when I can. I am an educator, storyteller and conversationalist; I thrive of deep, meaningful, get-you-really-thinking kind of conversations.

My interest in children’s development stems from watching my own grow; and my interest in parenting is similar.

However, after being at mental breaking point in December 2021, I decided I want to do more that just be interested in child development, I wanted and needed to work on building my own toolbox of resources, so that I could be the best parent possible for them. I work towards breaking cycles of generational trauma so my children are more empowered and liberated, I step into gratitude for the ancestral strengths we have been given and I work to honour my position as an ancestor; aware that this work impacts the generations that will come after me.

More recently, I have begun to help others to do the same for their families.

Ultimately, I am multifaceted. There are various aspects of my life that mesh together here – I am not interested in dialing back or focusing in on a niche; because truly we spend enough time shedding parts of ourselves to fit into boxes neatly throughout the day. So here, there are the various points to the star shaped me; choosing not to cut off anything in order to fit in. I hope you feel safe enough to know you can do the same.

With much love,

Rohana

Oh, while you’re here I’d love to invite you to join my email list; it’s a little more intimate and a lot more fun; you’ll get updates of my thought process, and the chance to hear about new exciting things before anyone else – plus of course freebees and discounts exclusive to subscribers (like the model calls and coaching coming up).

Once you’re emails there, come say hii and tell me something cool about you! I can’t wait to hear it.
